Importing into Access

I have a database and the data for my database is held within an internet application that generates the numbers that are used for analysis. I was wondering is there a way to automatically set up import times for the necessary files that will be needed each month. I also was wondering is there a way to import directly from the internet application without having to download the necessary files and convert them into an excel spreadsheet.
