Importing .PST files; Outlook 2003 to 2002

Before coming to the US on holiday, I made copies of .PST files from my main PC at the office. I was going to load them in Outlook on a brand new laptop.

When I attempted to import the files, I was advised that it could not be done; I need to check with my Adminstrator.

It would appear that the .PST files I created and exported to a stick were from Outlook 2003; the US laptop has Office 2002, including Outlook 2002.

Is there anything I can do to make .the PST files compatible? Specifically my calendar, emails and contact list.
