I’ve run in to this in the past but it was easier just to scrap the old drive. It’s time I learned how to do it right.
I installed Fedora Core 5 on a system several months ago as an experiment. Now I want to return the system to production with XP on it. I successfully installed my XP Ghost image for this model. When I attempt to boot, I get a blue Fedora boot screen, then a screen of executed commands and responses. The text is in the following post. This is a single hard drive with a single partition.
What do I need to do to get this machine to boot into XP? This computer will be used by non-technical workers.
