Installing MS Office Professional Edition 2003 on a HP Vista laptop; can it

hello all – am looking at buying a new laptop and have been told by a few people that you can not install Office 2003 on a vista machine yet a couple of people have said yes….any comments? can it be done? As well, does anyone know if Adobe CS Premium can be installed on Vista too? Any info would be greatly appreciated….thanks! Chris – chris.veillon@yahoo.ca
