Hello everyone. The company i work for has recently decided to do there own webhosting for their 3 websites they own. Right now we pay a small local hosting company monthly to host our 3 websites and do email hosting for each domain. 1 of the 3 will have a SQL database attached to it.
The company has decided to do their own hosting and has purchased a Windows 2003 Server w/SQL 2003. We currently have a T1 line coming into the building via a smart jack which is then linked to a Sonic Wall TZ170 and then which is then uplinked to a 24 port unmanaged switch. We currently have 1 public ip address from the telco. What i was wanting to do was have a total of 2 servers.
Server1: would handle SQL Server and DNS
Server2: would handle IIS and Email Services (Vopmail Email Software)
I was wondering how many public ip addresses would i need to handle this and what router/firewall would you recommend to handle this? And would you recommend a different method then what i have posted above on what servers would handle what.
