Internet explorer doesn’t not work

Everytime I type an address in internet explorer and presses enter the program stops to respond. The trouble is that I can surf msn.com(my startpage) but no other site. The last change I did was to reinstall Adobe flashplayer.

What is the problem?

Firefox works normally but my local bank doesn’t support this webbrowser.
