IRPStackSize

Hello

Just about any program I run crashes the win 2000 system I am running. When I go to event viewer it says IRP StackSize is: IRPStackSize in Servers Registery key LanmanServer\Parameters was Invalid, the value was ignored and processing continued. I have tried to set the the DWord setting in the window to: 4 then to 11 and still the system does the same thing? Is there something I’m missing in the DWord value settings or is it a hardware problem that I have not found yet?
