Is it possible to replace 56k modem with DSL modem for dialing

Please if anyone can help on this matter, consider my present situation.

56k Modem with phone line, request connection to office computer.

Office-Computer

56k Modem with phone line, accept connection

I connect to my office computer through 56k modem, which accepts incoming connection from my home-PC. Now I want to replace 56k modem with DSL modem, pleas guide me if it is possible to get is connected the same way as on dialup modem by just be replacing DSL modem on both sides.
