Jings, Crivvens, Help ma Boab, and words of that ilk …

In the Scottish lingo (as opposed to the English language!) there are words that, when uttered in ‘Foreign Climes’ instantly render you as a ‘Scot’.

May I (resorting to the Queen’s English…) proffer the question to the TR fraternity:

Let’s make this GLOBAL. Offer your local dialect words, the words that identify you while abroad.

I will finish with “If yae dint, Ah’ll be scunnered!” 🙂
