Laptop lost display

I have an HP Pavilion Notebook model number n3210.
I booted the other day and the display never came up. I tried plugging in a monitor which didnt work as well. I am not sure if its posting as it has never made any sound anyway. I have tried many ways to find support for this but HP wont help because the warrenty is up on it. I cant afford to pay but any info or place to find it would be greatly appreciated.
