Large desktop area

Hi,
On one of the office desktops (Win XP Pro), the desktop area has enlarged and the user needs to scroll around with the mouse to see all the area. This only occurs when the screen res is set to 1280×1024.

It is a recent occurance, it has been working perfectly at that resolution for over a year and a couple days ago it changed. I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, but that didn’t solve the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
