We have a Fujitsu-Seimens Server running Windows SBS 2003 and around 60 workstations running windows XP. Unfortunately our IT manager died in a tragic car accident last week and we cannot find any record of the Admin Passwords to the system. We have had several IT companies look at the system and have tried various methods of resetting the password, all to no avail. We purchased ERD Commander and ran Locksmith but it did not find any of the admin/user accounts only the default Administrator & Guest accounts. Setting the Administrator account to TEST and rebooting did not work. We have been told that somehow the registry has been moved and the only way to recover the system is to reinstall the system, which we do not want to do as this will amount to about a months work. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
