Lost CD Drive/Partial Use Of Sound Card

by minime1961 . Updated 25 years, 11 months ago

I some how a conflict with my sound card and it operating in confliction with SOMETHING else in my system, yet it shows it as being installed and operating with no conflicts, until you TRY to use something that requires it. Secondly, I have also lost my CD-ROM drive somehow, system was given to me, so there are no available Win 95 Software ( I can borrow some though ). I am apparently in need of an msopl.drv driver, how are you suppose to load a Win95 CD, when your system doesn’t recognize a D: drive?
I have LITERALLY tried EVERYTHING!
I did recently get a DSL line, loaded some stuff, but I did have sound etc. for awile after I did that. Somehow I now have Qicken 32, and I can NOT seem to delete this from my hard drive, could there sound files possibly contain the conflict?
