Lost CD for XP Pro

Need to replace a Laptop HD that has errors and don’t want to make a ghost image because of the errors that have been encountered. I want to use a clean install, but the original owner doesn’t have the installation disks. The software is legal and I have the product code. How can I get a copy of XP Pro to install on the new HD that will work with the product code that came with the laptop originally? This is an older machine (2002) and the original owner doesn’t want to buy another set of disks.
