lost cmos password

a person whom I will not mention broke three pins on my hard drive, them put in a smaller drive. in the process I forgot my cmos password. I am running AMD Athlon 1700. used to have a 60 but now have a 40. Any help on how to recover password witout pulling battery would be very helpfu. Also any info on how ot fix pins on my old drive woul make me very grateful. I am disabled and my computer is my ‘outside’ world.
