Lost Map Drive after print in W98 2nd Ed

Keep losing mapped drives on Windows 98 2nd ed. machines after printing a second time to a different networked printer. Rebooting fixes the problem but will reoccur if I attempt to print a second print job to another networked printer. I have to check ‘My computer’ to see if drive is still mapped before attempting to print a second print job. This problem is only with Windows98 second edition. It does not occur with Windows98 or Windows 2000. Is there a dll file I need fix this? Any otherclues?
