LOST START MENU

Apparently Google changed their home page appearance and when I went on line today I find that I can’t find the start menu on the tool bar any longer!

I read some similar complaints and tried the prposed solutions. Namely do to “TASK MANAGER” then “FILE”, “RUN” enter “explore.exe” and this should refresh and place the START MENTU back on my tool bar when IE is running Gogle as my homepage. Yes I found the start menu but it did not stay.

I also simply hit the Windows button on my key board and it brings the start menu up all right but again it doesn’t stay.

How may I restore?
