Lost volume, plz help!

Hello,

I have got a big problem while trying to improve my NT Server performance.

This is the situation: I have got two 8GB disks, no protection at all, just 2GB for OS, and the rest is (or was?) a volume.

Well I reinstalled the NT in the OS partition, formatting it, but now when the server is up I cannot see the old volume comprising both disks !!!

What can I do? Please your comments will be very helpful.
