Map Drives lost for XP clients in a Windows 2003 domain

There are random users, including myself, that sometimes after reboot, the drive mappings do not always show up. Sometimes if i reboot again, the drives will show. Sometimes NOT. I can’t seem to find a solution online. Has anyone else had this issue or seen a solution? I looked in the event logs and nothing seems to be consistent.
