Mic Boost in Vista doesnt stay enabled

Hi, i am using Vista Business edition. I have a problem whereby the mic boost option in windows vista will not stay on after every restart despite enabling it repeatedly.

This problem has been reported by a few users on internet forums already, without any solution.

I suspect its my motherboard incompatibility with Vista as some users experiencing the same problem as me have the same mobo – AN8.

Is there any script that i can run on startup that re-enables the mic boost option so that i do not have to do it manually?
