Microsoft Excel 2007 – How to you delete post?

My PC came with Microsoft Works which has the .xlr files and worse is that there are no tabs for multiple worksheets. I looked up Excel for an XP system and it lists Excel 2007 but in features it doen’t say if it supports multiple sheets/work books. I can’t find a Home Office Excel upgrade, other than buying a whole new one, Excel 2007.
