Microsoft word 2007

Hello,

I downloaded the free 60 day trail of microsoft word 2007. I am having problems with the ribbon. I can not access the referance tabs
manage sources, style or biblography. Can anyone help me with this? Do I have to buy the program to get this feature to work? It is for my son school and most parents only have 2003.
