Most effective deployment.

by aosatre . Updated 23 years, 1 month ago

I have a classroom with computers. All connected to a switch. I also have a server. Every computer are running win2000, I expect the server to run win2000SERVER, of course.

After upgrading BIOS on every machine (guess I’ll have to stick to the ordinary diskette-method there), I’m to install WinXP on all computers. They all have the same specs, except from the server.

You see, I’ve read about Remote Installation Service, but I haven’t found any good tutorials on it, and I’m not sure if Ihave the right tools to use it, but isn’t that the most effective way, when I only have one CD with WinXP?

Question: Most effective way of deployment, and any clues on where to find nice tutorials on such?
