Most Secure Remote PC Software for NT/2K

I’m looking for suggestions and recommedations on which remote PC software to use in a Windows NT/2K network. In one situation the main system will be running Windows 2000 server and the client machine looking to connect to the host server will be NT. I’m looking for security reports and any other information that can help me back up my decision on a security stand point. and help is much appreciated.
