Motherboard POST codes

I have an ABIT MB with Phoenix – Award BIOS. The manufacture has been contacted regarding the problem. It is displaying a code of “F.” on the MB. I have referred to the book and directly to the website of ABIT without identifying the problem. It occurs when I shut down the system completely. To counteract it not starting up I have to shut down the power to the system and on, and then restart; it then starts.

An additional concern of mine is the Ethernet connection fails during the Cold Boot, only to work establish connection during a Reboot.
