MS BCM not opening contact documents

I have an issue with Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007 running BCM. None of the users can open any of the files associated any of the contacts, when they attempt to open them it opens a blank document, not the document they were trying to find. Note: I am not talking about the contact information, but rather the documents associated with the contacts.

We recently did a complete wipe and reload of their systems since every single machine was loaded with viruses but we did backup their BCM database and successfully imported it.
