MS Client lost login

Here’s the scoop:
Brand new Win98SE machine using MS Client for NW…MS Client for NW is set as Primary login…Can’t get a NW login, but I can ping another IP Address…Card seems to work fine, but I have re-installed the drivers more times than Icare to remember. All other machines are logging in just fine, but this one just comes up with a windows login. I’ve tried forcing the network speed and duplex settings instead of leaving them Auto, but still no login. Any Ideas???
