Name resolution in clusters

I have windows 2000 advanced 2 node active-active cluster. If I ping to the cluster name then to which IP will it point in active-active configuration as both nodes are active?
How does windows resolves this issue as how to map cluster name to IP in an active-active cluster configuration.
