Well, look who counts the “rest of the world” (presumably) as its friend and suggests you all have a common enemy in the USA. Well, we are all known by the friends we keep, and the old saying, [i]the enemy of your enemy is your friend[/i], apparently applies. Nice friend you have there, the rest of the world. Quite frankly, I’m beginning to believe that isolationism has its merits.
I just have one question, however. What am I doing in this hand basket, and where am I going?
Okay, one more question. What would happen if the United States did indeed become isolationist, locked down its borders to anyone attempting to come in, and we refused to deploy our military anywhere in the world for any reason whatsoever? How would your “friends” be towards you then? Seriously? What would happen?
