nortons ghost 2003

by brad . Updated 20 years, 6 months ago

Although i have done this many times, this is the first time I have encountered this problem. i am trying to ghost an image from one 80 Gb hard disk to another of the same size, and I realized that it would not let me select one of the drives as the source drive. Is this because it doesn’t contain a partition, or is the drive faulty – the full story in short is I had a motherboard fail on me and I’ve replaced it, but the original hard disk won’t boot, ive checked it on other machines and it works fine, but i was trying to ghost it to this unpartitioned hard disk to try and retain my data while i re-installed windows on the original. Any help would be appreciated.
