not able to do wireless network on workgroup

i have 1 desktop and 1 laptop whenever i connect my wired network on workgroup i am able to share network ,i am able to see computers in networkplaces,but when i try to connect wireless network ,i am unable to see computers in network places.
both computer are connected through routers DLINK DI 524.
i am able shre internet wirelessly but not folders and files.
