Novell Websphere 3.5 Hostname Config

We are trying to run the novell websphere 3.5 and we have not been successful in obtaining a hostname. The error message we keep getting is “nshttpd not loaded”. We have unloaded and reloaded and did all patches/fixes. Does anyone have any ideas?
