Office XP glitches

We have a user who has just upgraded to
Office XP, running on Windows 98SE. He is
experiencing two unrelated problems.

1) When he tries to launch DOS programs
from his office toolbar just like he did in Office
97, the toolbar freezes the machine. Right
clicking the DOS program and choosing Open
will launch the program.

2) The user can create a snapshot view from
an Access report BUT all of the reports are
blank.

We have tested these issues on other
machines running Office XP on both Windows
98 and 2000 and cannot reproduce them. Any
insights and assistance are appreciated.
