On Board RAID + Ghost

Went to school took the classes and read the books, what I never learned was how to set up the hardware. I recently acquired an Abit board with on board RAID; I want to set up RAID 0. Is it better to have both drives on the same RAID channel jumpered MS / SA using 1 IDE cable or Different channels jumpered MA / MA using 2 IDE cables? Next question can I use Norton ghost from a HD to the RAID?
