Orphaned mailboxes in exchange 2003

There are former user?s email mailboxes in the primary Exchange 2003 information store that need to be exported to a PST file and then deleted, but the user?s account has been totally removed from Active Directory. How do you access those orphaned mailboxes and export them to a PST file?
