I have an oversized .pst file
I have used the 2gb152.exe file to
Then I ran the Scanpst.exe utility to truncate the .pst file to under 2 GB
All of this went well.
When I open outlook it gives me the error message and asks if I want to open another fie. If I say no outlook closes down. If I say yes then the only thing that shows up where the mail should be is a navigation pane for the C: drive. I try to open the new .pst file that way but it is not working.
What I can not figure out is how do I get that new file into outlook.
I tried to go to file and then Data File Management and I tried the import/export but ther is nothing in the drop down for options but exit.
Is there some kind of back door without opening outlook that I can tell outlook to use the new .pst file not the old oversized one?
