I have a user who seems to be stuck in the “old” outlook Express format of vcard information. Everyone else in the office sees the OL2000 contact format when they open a contact record that has been forwarded to them from someone else, using the forward as vcard action. This one person, when he opens the attached vcard it does not show as a contact record in OL2000,
rather as they used to show in OE5 with the various tabs for name, business, etc.
When he clicks on the Add to Address Book,the Lord only knows where the information goes, it does not show up in his contacts file.
Using the Contact properties, I have named his contact file as “first name last name’s contacts” and indicated that it should be an Outlook Address book. In Services, I have indicated that it should file all of his personal contacts in this file.
I am at a loss. I have done a repair on Outlook 2000 and I have uninstalled and reinstalled it.
Any ideas?
