Outlook Express 6 fiasco

Was trying to move/export mail from the arcane local settings to shared documents.

The only export that worked was addresses. The account IAF could not be imported. None of the mail folders would open. OE6 would not open!

I bought DBXtract, which was no help. Now/still getting “in use by another program or not enough file space”. Apparently drag & drop is forbidden. How get over hurdles & get OE to actually do something?
