Outlook Express vs Netscape Messenger

Hi,
There is a conception that Microsoft Outlook Express program is more
susceptible to viruses than Netscape’s Messenger .
Is it true?.

Is there a statistic that:
-how many users worldwide use outlook express and how many users use Netscape messanger?.
-whats the percentage of e-mail viruses specifically written for outlook
express?

Which one do you recommend to a user who updates virus DAT files regularly
as far as viruses are concerned?.
