Outlook PST file recovery

I have a user’s PST file that has exceeded 2 GIG. Now it won’t open and I can’t add it to a new profile and I cannot compact it.

I have tried everything I know to recover this file, and Technet says that it can’t be recovered but that there may be a third party program that can recover it.

If anyone knows another method of recovery, or a program that will do it, please help!!
