I have an Outlook user who is linked to an Exchange mailbox here in the UK. This person is using W2K and Outlook 2000, I have exported his mailbox to a .pst because he is travelling back to Australia where we hope to import into a new Exchange mailbox. However I wanted to give this user a CD to travel with but when I burnt the CD the .pst file fails to import I have the following message: –
Personal Folders (in the title bar)
Properties for this information service must be defined prior to use.
On pressing OK I get:
Microsoft Outlook (in title bar)
File access is denied. You do not have permission required to access the file (followed by the path)
However, I can import the mailbox from the network drive. The file on the CD does not appear to have any security settings?
Any ideas anyone? (the CD burning software is WinOnCD 3.8), I do not think this is the issue though – Direct CD on my machine did not work either.
