Outlook.pst file corruption

I have a message that the Outlook.pst file is corrupt and to close all mail progs and run the “inbox repair tool”.
How do I do this?
Where do I find the “Inbox repair tool”
Outlook ver. 2000.
I can’t get into Outlook unless I create a new Personal folder.
