outlook.pst gone after chkdsk ran

I have a W2K Pro PC w/ Office 2K. I recently rebooted my PC when Windows automatically runs a chkdsk. Chkdsk fixed all problems in the filesystem that it found, but when I opened Outlook it said that it could not find my .pst file. I looked and the file was there but the size of the file was 0kb. Is there any way to get this back or is it gone for good? Any help would be greatly apprteciated.
