Outsourcing – Bringing IT Back Home?

Recently, with the changing economic conditions outsourcing and off-shoring are once again taking center stage. I would like to hear from anyone who has either brought previously outsourced IT functions back in-house, or is in the process bringing the outsourced IT functions back in-house or is in the analysis phase ? considering bringing the outsourced IT functions back in-house (complete or partial insourcing).

I am trying to assess the challenges of outsourcing reversal (Backsourcing, Retro-sourcing) as this movement seems to be picking up steam based on the number of outsourcing failures.
