Palm and Windows CE on one host

We have a user who will be getting a Compaq IPAQ Celeon 500 MHz computer with 128 MG RAM and Windows 2000. He has a Palm VII now. He would also like a Hand Held PC with Windows CE so he can be more productive on the road, and wants to sync both onthe one computer. Has anybody tried this? If so were there any issues?
