PCAnywhere Host Answering

I am trying to get PCAnyhere to work with distinctive ringing. It answers no matter what. I have a LT Viking Winmodem on an HPBrio(2000). The phone line (that has distinctive ring) is connected to the modem. I also have a brother fax/printer thatutilizes the computer. This is on another phone line. I did temporally disable the software and turned off the printer to see if it was the culprit. It did not help. The modem does work and so does pcanywhere, but I only want it to answer the data line. Thanks for any insight.
