pdf creation fails after upgrade to XP

I upgraded a pc from win2K to XP. Since then I can not create PDFs with PDF995. I have tried to install PDFcreator and cutePDF and neither creates a PDF.

All in their own way ask where to save the file, I can see the printjob go through the virtual printer but no file is created.

Each uses ghostscript. I have installed what ever version each wanted but no joy. I uninstalled anything pdf I could find including pdf printers mentioned, FoxIT and adobe. Reinstalled adobe and PDF995 and still no joy.

Help Please as the user really wants his PC back!
