Hello,
I am having employess in different cities and states in India. I prepared pivot tablefor that when i select particualr city it will display all the employees, but now i would like to filter based on state level. when i fileter based on state level in the city pivot filter item show all the cities name. i would like to have onlyin the ‘City’ pivot item list related to ‘State’ only it should display instead of showing all cities on the item list.
Emp Name City State
A1 Bangalore Karnataka
B1 Mangalore Karnataka
C1 Hyderabad Andhra Pradesh
D1 Mumbai Maharastra
E1 Kolkata WestBengal
F1 Pune Maharastra
In the pivot table i am filter the ‘City’ Pivot item.In the list it will show all the ciies name. instead of that in pivot table i am taking one more filter item is ‘State’. if iselect ‘Karnataka’ in the ‘City’ Filter item list it will display only the city belongs to ‘Karnataka’ State only.
