Postfix and Spam Assassin

I’m new to Linux. I’ve figured out how to install Linux, Postfix, Amavisd, Razor and Spam Assassin, but I’m having trouble getting it to work. I’ve done several searches on the net, but can’t track down the solution. Here’s what I’ve got:

Red Hat Enterprise Edition
the latest version of Spam Assasin, Amavisd, Postfix and Razor.

When booting up, I get “Postfix:execvp: No such file or directory”, but Postfix and Amavisd are running. When I telnet in to send an email, everything looks good, but the email isn’t delivered. I’ve verified the relay destinations of my domains and authorized my IP to relay through it.

When I look in the mail logs, I see this:
Apr 8 10:12:06 hostname postfix/smtp[4003]: E63A93B6AE: to=, relay=127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1], delay=2216, status=deferred (host 127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1] said: 450 4.4.1 Can’t connect to 127.0.0.1 port 10025, Bad file descriptor at /usr/local/sbin/amavisd line 2862, line 333., id=03739-07 (in reply to end of DATA command))

In this message, I substituted in place of my email address and hostname in place of the computername.

I’ve searched many times over in various forums, help sites and search engines, but I’m coming up blank. Any help would be appreciated. Even if you can’t directly answer the question, I’d appreciate anyone who points me in the right direction.
