My Exective Director wants to have an ongoing page on our company website that she can update from any web browser, any os, anywhere.
Basically, It would be her way of updating the entire company in an online newsletter. It can be really simple.
I was thinking of possibly writing a little cgi script and having it post to a section of an html page dedicated to this and also giving her a button to delete old sections with. Basically, I’d give her an address to a log-in page and then she would be able to write and post, kind of like “Blogger”.
I was wondering however, although I haven’t seen this, if a common script already exists for this, or if anyone knew a better way on an extremely tight budget and having her switch from pc’s at workto Mac’s at home. She doesn’t have real high skills either, so it’s gotta be simple….
Anyone else have an ongoing newsletter for a company page running?
